What's New and What's Happening!

You may want to consider packing an overnight bag and spending the week with us! We've got so much going on this week, you won't want to miss a single thing.

Soup n' Sew is tomorrow, Tuesday at 10:30. Bring a project you're working on and join us for lunch. This is the perfect chance to spend a couple of hours uninterrupted to get those Christmas gifts done and ready to be wrapped.

Quilt Club is this Thursday, December 6th at the regular times. Jeanne has lots planned for you this week. A few more items we found at Quilt Market. And the last quilt club of the year will be Dec 27th. You get to see us twice this month !! Jeanne will unveil the quilt for next year's block of the month on the 27th. She won't be showing you just a picture-she's going to have the top all done. You'll know exactly what your quilt is going to look like and it's very sweet and pretty. We've chosen one of my favorite companies, Lakehouse for the fabric.

Stash buster is Friday night at 6:00PM. We still have room for more of you to join us. Give me a call and I'll let you know the fabric you need to bring. Remember - RAID your stash for this project. Bring a dish to pass and the recipe and you have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to O'Susannah's!

And LAST but certainly not least, Sunday, December 9th is Customer Appreciation Day from 2-4 PM. Joey Traver will be doing a demonstration on changing the sizes of your quilt blocks and I'll be offering some very sweet deals to you, my customers. Just so you know I DO appreciate you! There will be drawings for free gifts and great sales in the shop. Fabric as low as $1.00 and $2.00 a yard! You don't want to miss this. And since it's the holidays, we'll have a few refreshments to celebrate the season!! I hope to see you.

Did you receive your February 2008 issue of McCall's Quilting? The cover quilt is called Bits of Sunshine and we've got the fabric. Just give us a call and we'll be happy to put the kit together for you while the supply lasts!

And goodies are still arriving from Quilt Market. Our stencils have arrived. If you've been looking for them no need to look any further - we've got 'em! Fabric is also arrving - just last week we received McKenn Ryan's new line called, Glacier Lights. I simply don't have the words to describe it and these pictures just don't do it justice. Yesterday, I had a chance to start a quilt with it and it is just beautiful to work with. Don't hesitate to stop in and check this out because it won't last long! We also received a stunning floral group from Free Spirit, L'Encore. Deep rich burgundy on a cream background with a stripe to die for.

Next year is just around the corner and we've got lots in store for you. The newsletter will be arriving just in time to celebrate the New Year.
