We're off and running with the New Year and couldn't wait for it to get here! Our family had a quiet and reflectful Christmas and a hardworking New Year's Eve! Our big family news is daughter, Abby has a JOB! Isn't that a nice way to start the New Year. So she's off and running too!

O'Susannah's is happy (that's putting it mildly) to announce we will begin offering long arm quilting services in February. My birthday present was a Statler Stitcher Gammill Long Arm Quilting Machine. As soon as we begin taking quilts, we'll let you know.

Our store hours are changing with the new year. We are now open seven days a week. Our Sunday hours will be 11:00-3:00pm. The first Sunday of every month will be open sew in the classroom. If your family is like mine, they're watching hockey or football so you won't be missed at all. It's free and it'll be fun!

On New Year's Eve, I finished the Strip Club Quilt for Saturday, January 12th. If you haven't come before, start off the New Year with some fun. You get a free pattern for coming and the strips I used in the quilt are available for purchase. Since I spent yesterday cleaning out the back room, I'm going to offer any strip sets left from past Strip Club quilts at 50% off!! So that's another reason to join us.

Our website has been updated for our events and classes. We've got a few pictures but we'll be adding more. We do have a picture of the Quilt Club block of the month for 2008 and I thought you might enjoy seeing this quilt. It's a beauty! If you'd like to do this block of the month for 2008, join us at Quilt Club the last Thursday of the month. You can come at 10:30 or 2:30 or 7:00PM. You'll pay $7.50 for the first pattern and fabric for the block of the month and if you come back the next month with your block done, you receive the next pattern and fabric for free!

Fun Day is scheduled for January 26th. We had so much fun last year we decided to do it again. The day cost $10.00 and this includes lunch, snack and three projects. You'll learn a few new techniques and go home with something completed. It's an inexpensive day at the QUILT SHOP! Give us a call and sign up now!
